Zendesk LCM User Provisioning
Step 1
Log in to Zendesk: Use your admin credentials to access your Zendesk account. Click on the gear icon and choose "Go to Admin Center."
Step 2
To access the API settings, follow these steps: navigate to the "Apps and Integration" section, locate and select "Zendesk API."
Step 3
Enable Password Access: If you prefer password-based authentication, enable it. Otherwise, if you choose token-based authentication, proceed to enable token access.
Enable Token Access: If token access is not already enabled, click the 'Add API Token' button to create a new token. Check the box to enable token access if required.
Step 4
Create and Manage API Tokens: Click the '+ Add API Token' button. Enter a description to identify the token's purpose. The API token will be displayed upon creation.
Step 5
Make sure to copy and save your token right away. Zendesk displays the full token only once, and it cannot be retrieved later. If you lose it, you'll have to generate a new one.
