Social Authentication - Infisign UniFed with Linkedin OAuth2.0
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for integration and obtaining the Client ID and Client Secret from LinkedIn.
Step 1: Visit the LinkedIn Developer site at LinkedIn Developer Login.
Step 2: Log in using your LinkedIn account credentials.
Step 3: Click on the Create app option
Step 4: Fill in the required fields, including the App Name, and click Create App.
Step 5: Navigate to the Products tab. Scroll down to find the option to sign in to LinkedIn using OpenID Connect and click on Request access.
Step 6: Review the terms and click Request access to proceed.
Step 7: Navigate from the Products tab to the Auth tab. You will find the Client ID and Client Secret under Application Credentials.
Step 8: Copy and Note the Client ID and Client Secret, as these will be used in the Infisign application for LinkedIn OAuth 2.0 integration.
Step 9: Click on the edit icon in the OAuth 2.0 settings to modify the Redirect URL.
Step 10:Retrieve the Redirect URL from the UniFed Portal by navigating to Tenant > Social Authentication > LinkedIn OAuth > Config. Copy and paste the Call Back URL into the appropriate field in Step 9.
Step 11: Once all the steps are completed, click on Update to finalize the configuration settings.
