Overview of the Product Update
We are excited to announce the release of Infisign V2.3.1. This release brings several new features, enhancements, and bug fixes to improve your overall experience. We appreciate your continued support and feedback in making each release.
Features and Enhancements
Web
i. Relationship Management
This enables the organization to map the application with the users and vice-versa. This also helps in Group mapping. We are introducing a new database Neo4J
ii. Conditional Access
Limiting application access by IP or Lat, Long (location)
iii. Logs Integration - (System Logs & Transaction Logs)
System Logs - real-time visibility into the inner workings of the application.
Transaction Logs - allowing to track and record critical application transactions and user interactions.
iv. LCM User Provisioning
User provisioning life cycle management for applications refers to a comprehensive system that centrally handles the entire journey of user access across various interconnected applications within an organizational ecosystem. This management system facilitates efficient and secure handling of user accounts from their creation to their eventual deactivation or removal.
User provisioning is done for the following applications.
1. Salesforce
2. Atlassian
3. Amazon Web Services
v. Directory Integration - Google Workspace
Directory integration for an application involves linking the application's user management system with Infisign’s internal directory service. This integration allows seamless synchronization of user data, authentication, and access control between the application and the directory service. Directory integration is now available for Google Work Space.
vi. Browse App Catalog Integration
An application catalog within an application refers to the functionality that allows users to explore, discover, and select from a collection of available features, tools, or resources offered within that specific application.
App catalog integration is done for the following applications.
1. Salesforce
2. Atlassian
3. Amazon Web Services
4. Google Work Space
5. Slack
Wallet (Android, iOS, Mac OS & Windows OS)
i. Deep Linking
This approach allows users to navigate directly to the relevant information, improving the user experience and saving time. Various application supports Authentication using the Infisign Application and allows Deep linking.
ii. NAG Environment Setup (Mac OS & Windows OS)
The Network Access Gateway (NAG) environment involves configuring the necessary components on both Mac OS and Windows OS.
iii. User Experience - (Mac OS & Windows OS)
Wallet applications render and function well on various devices and screen sizes. This approach aims to provide an optimal user experience across desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
Bugs Fixed
i. Fixed XML file generation issue - IDV 948
Issue and cause: Generate XML file function generates metadata XML files for a specific application based on the data like entity ID, domain URL etc. Due to some improper data processing, this function was not working as expected.
Fix: Data processing is handled seamlessly to resolve this issue.
ii. Page Size and Pagination issue - IDV 1081
Issue and cause: Count for number of data displayed in a table shows incorrect values due to improper event handling while changing the page and page size.
Fix: This event handling is corrected to resolve this issue.
iii.Directory - add user attribute issue - IDV 1043
Issue and Cause: While adding user to Infisign, data has to be provided with respect to the attributes in default schema. The attributes are not loaded due to CORS issue.
Fix: CORS is handled seamlessly to resolve this issue.
iv. Inactive Group shown in identity issuance list issue - IDV 952
Issue and cause: If any group is made in-active, the group should not be visible in any active group list. Due to some missed query, inactive groups are shown in identity issuance module.
Fix: This issue is resolved by adding proper queries.
v. Updating user profile issue IDV - 927
Issue and cause: User profile contains the details of the user. Profile image of the user is not updated due to format mismatch.
Fix: This issue is resolved by adding proper format for the images to be uploaded.
vi. Create application issue - IDV 798
Issue and cause: Creation of application fails due to occurrence of some validation error. The reason is, the entity ID is not fetched from the XML file that is uploaded.
Fix: This issue is resolved by mapping the proper data for entity ID from the XML file link
vii. Application mapping issue - IDV 803
Issue and cause: Users can access only the applications that are assigned to them. But few applications that are not assigned is also visible to a particular user but the user will not be able to access them.
Fix: This issue is resolved by means of proper query implementation.
viii. Identity revoke issue IDV- 951
Issue and cause: The revoke option is visible only for the published identities. But the revoke option was visible for some non-published identities. This issue is due to an improper query.
Fix: It is resolved by correcting the query.
ix. Fixes for security vulnerabilities identified VAPT - IDV 678
Issue and cause: Double Extension File Upload Restriction, Security Headers Implementation, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) Mitigation, clickjacking & Concurrent Login
Fix: It is resolved by enhancing to prevent files and implementation to protect the common vulnerabilities and overall security
x. Application template login Issue - IDV 1107
Issue and cause: User is unable to proceed with ZKP template login via Infisign Wallet
Fix: It is resolved by proper payload implementation
xi. Default Schema issue IDV 1114
Issue and cause: In Schema list page, there is a button make the schema as Default schema. This button is also visible for default schema. Once the schema is made default schema, the pop up remains unclosed. This is due to improper filtration of data based on status.
Fix: This issue is resolved by making proper filters based on the key
xii. Bulk Upload for Identity Issuance issue IDV 1115
Issue and cause: Bulk upload method offers identity issuance for a group of users with same Identity template. This feature is not working due to the malfunctioning of api call method.
Fix: This issue is resolved by changing the api call by means of proper method.
xiii. Identity Issuance – Event based rule issue IDV 1116
Issue and cause: While issuing an Identity using Event based issuance method, some rules need to be set. There is an issue while setting the rules as the rules are not stable. This is due to triggering of different function for the option selected.
Fix: This issue is resolved by making correct function call to be performed based on the option change
xiv. Directory groups assign user issue IDV 1117
Issue and cause: While assigning users to a group, the username is not visible in the drop-down. This is due to the improper binding of data for the dropdown value.
Fix: This issue is resolved by binding the correct data with a dropdown value.
